Tour Guests will arrive at Bagdogra Airport as per their Scheduled flight. Upon arrival they will meet Indian Paradise tour manager at the airport and proceed to Phuntsholing – the gateway to Bhutan.

Today we proceed to Paro. En route visit Tamcho iron bridge near pa chu. Upon arrival at Paro, we visit, Paro Dzong- a large dzong - Buddhist monastery and fortress. Further we visit Ta-Dzong also known as National Museum. In the evening we have some free time for shopping at local market.

Today we visit Taktshang Monastery- famously known as Tiger’s Nest Monastery. Clinging on a cliff at a height of 3120 meters above the sea level, this ancient monastery is a gem of Paro Valley. a trek of total 12km from Paro town. After returning from Tiger’s Nest, we proceed to the view point of Drukgyel Dzong – a Victory Fortress. In the evening we enjoy the Bhutanese cultural program.

Today we visit Chele-la-Pass – the highest motorable pass in the western regions of Bhutan located between picturesque Haa Valley and Paro Valley. Further we proceed to Punakha. En route we visit Lamperi Botanical Garden, Dochula Pass and 108 memorial chortens also known as Druk Wangyal Chorten. Further we proceed to the low lands on Punakha valley. Upon arrival we have free time to relax and explore the surroundings

Today we have a full day excursion to Phobjikha Valley which is known for its migration of the black necked cranes and the beauty of its valley. We will visit Gangtey Monastery which is one of the oldest monasteries lying at an elevation of 3000m, Nature walk at Phobjikha Valley and Black-Necked Crane Information Center. Later we enjoy a thrilling experience of white water rafting in the Punakha river.

Today we visit the famous Punakha Dzong – the second oldest and second largest Dzong in Bhutan. Then we proceed to Thimphu- the capital of Bhutan. Upon arrival we visit BBS Clock Tower, and Tashichho Dzong. In the evening we have free time at the local market.

Today we explore Thimphu city, we visit Motithang mini zoo – a wildlife reserve area for ‘Takin’ the national animal of Bhutan, Buddha Dordenma Statue, and the Standing Buddha Park. Further we visit National Library and Handicraft Center.

Airline: On group tours, we generally fly well-reputed airlines that are group-friendly.
During your air travel, refreshments and meals are provided as per the airline policy. However, we recommend you carry dry snacks of your choice for the flight journey.

Transport: For transfers and sightseeing, we use mini coaches, big coaches, or small vans, depending on the respective tour group size. If you wish to have a separate vehicle solely for yourself or your family, it can be arranged at an additional cost, subject to availability.

Sightseeing attractions: Given the current dynamic situation, some monuments or sightseeing places may be closed temporarily without any prior notice; in such cases, every attempt will be made to visit an alternate sightseeing place if possible.

Hotels: The hotels on tour are comfortable and have been appreciated by Indian Paradise’s guests in the past. The category of hotels on international tours is a mix of three-star, three-star superior, and basic four-star.

Meals: On tour, we provide all meals, from day one to the last day, as mentioned in the itinerary. Breakfasts are generally continental on European tours, whereas, lunches and dinners are Indian OR Indian along with a local dish OR local cuisine, OR at times fast food meals from Subway, McDonald’s, etc., depending on the convenience and ease of execution of the itinerary or the availability of food at the respective destination.

Post-Covid Precautions: All tours are available for fully vaccinated guests (both doses of Covishield/Covaxin with a 15-day cooling-off period post the 2nd dose) and are subject to government directives and orders, airline connectivity, and visa regulations.
All guests must follow the prevailing mandatory requirements for travel, such as RT-PCR tests (departure and arrival), a certificate of full vaccination, web check-in, self-declaration, etc., as per the airline, state, or country. Any cost incurred for such requirements is not part of the tour price and should be borne by the guests.

Remarks

  • As per Bhutan’s New Tourism Policy, Indians visiting Bhutan will have to pay Sustainable Development Fee ( SDF) Rs.1200 per person per night. This fee is already included in the new tour price. For the guests using credit note or FTV will have to borne this newly introduced SDF by Bhutan government and will have to pay the same at the time of confirming the tour.
  • The tour price for Foreign Nationals and NRIs is different than Indian Nationals.
  • For Foreign Nationals and NRIs, Sustainable Development Fee charged as per the Bhutan’s New Tourism Policy is USD 200 per person per night.
  • Foreign Nationals and NRI guests need Visa for Bhutan, for which USD 40 will be added along with SDF to the tour price.
  • All meals are provided by Indian Paradise in case the flight reaches the stipulated destination early morning or leaves destination late in the evening.
  • In case, a particular sightseeing cannot be covered or visited on the tour, owing to any kind of unavoidable political, environmental or social circumstances, then it will be replaced with other best possible alternative sightseeing.
  • The tour price mentioned for this tour is for Indian nationals only.
  • NRIs and foreign nationals require Visa for Bhutan, Nepal, Kailash Manasarovar tours.
