Early in the morning visit the Vishnupad temple and perform the rituals (pind daan) for your ancestors. Later visit Mahabodhi temple at Bodhgaya and drive to Varanasi. On arrival check into the hotel. If time permits you can attend Ganga Aarti on own. Overnight in Varanasi.
Early morning proceed for a boat tour on River Ganges visiting all the bathing ghats followed by walk through the narrow lanes visiting the Golden Temple (old Vishwanath Temple), Annapurna Devi Temple, Vishalakshi Temple and Bhairav nath Temple. In case you wish to perform some rituals/pind daan for your ancestors you may perform this morning. Later visit Bharat Mata (Mother India) Mandir, Durga Temple, Tulsi Manas Mandir, Sankat Mochan Temple and the New Vishwanath Temple. Evening visit Ganga Aarti at Dasaswamedh Ghat. Overnight in Varanasi.
After breakfast, proceed to Prayagraj. On arrival at Prayagraj proceed to Sangam for a holy dip and later visit other places of religious and historical such as Akshaya Vat, Hanuman temple. Overnight in Prayagraj.
After breakfast, proceed to Chitrakoot (Madhya Pradesh). According to Hindu Mythology Lord Rama, Sita and Lakshmana spent eleven and half years of their fourteen years of exile. Visit Ramghat, Kamadgiri, Bharat Milap, Janaki Kund, etc. Later return to Prayagraj and visit Anand Bhavan, Swaraj Bhavan, Chandrasekhar Azad park and Lalita Devi temple. Overnight in Prayagraj.
After breakfast, proceed to Ayodhya (180 km 3 hrs drive). On arrival, visit to Rama Janmbhumi – the birth place of lord Rama and other temples. Later proceed to Lucknow (130 Km 2.5 hrs drive). On arrival check into the hotel. Overnight in Lucknow.
After breakfast, proceed to Naimisaranya. The Mahabharata was composed by Vedavyas in this forest. A dip in the river Gomati at this spot is considered to be very sacred ritual.
